In Memory Of . . . Albert Jackson Anderson -- May 4, 1925 - February 16, 2008 In the South, there are many sayings when people are asked about someone they don't know... the person you ask may say "he's a good man", "he's a nice guy", "he's a good family man", or "he's honest and would give you the shirt off his back". If you were to put all of these sayings together and add "humanitarian, patriotic, giving and loving" you come up with "he's a good ole boy!" Cactus Jack WAS a "Good Ole Boy!" He was the pillar of our community and everyone who knew him, loved and respected him. His memory will be long lasting, he will always be in our hearts, and he is missed and will be forever. ~ Dan Dickey, 2009 During his lifetime, Albert Jackson Anderson, a.k.a. Cactus Jack, touched the hearts of all those who knew him. He was a man of honor and dignity... willing to help anyone in need, in any way he could. He was truly loved by all, and is deeply missed. |
