NEWS / HEADLINES: SALT SPRINGS 'PIT-STOP' - MAKING PROGRESS... After several months without gas on Hwy 19 in Salt Springs, we're happy to report that the Qwik King will soon be reopening as a Sunoco Gas Station, complete with a convenience store, full-service bank (Florida Citizens Bank) and  a Subway sandwich shop! It is estimated that the opening will occur in about 2 weeks!! ...earlier than initially anticipated. We've certainly missed having the convenience store, and gas here in town... AND, the Salt Springs Grocery store gas pumps are in also, so we'll have our choice for gas again soon!
