'SEPTEMBER-FEST' and 'CHICKEN BBQ':

The Salt Springs Civic Association is proud to announce the 1st Annual September-Festival, on September 12th at the Community Park on Hwy 316. The Festival hours are from 1pm-6pm. The Chicken Dinner is from 2pm-5pm (or until we run out of chicken).

The event will include:

     >> Chicken BBQ Dinner, Cotton Candy, Popcorn, Snow Cones, Baked Goods, Beverages -- lots of good eats!

     >> Water slide (bring your bathing suit & towel)

     >> Bounce house, obstacle course

     >> Face painting

     >> Sports activities & games (soccer, football & volleyball, plus basketball & tennis -- bring your equipment)

     >> Raffle drawings & giveaways (the Grand Prize is 2-Night Stay at Resort in Daytona Beach)

     >> DJ & live music, performances by the 'Palm Tree Santas' and one-on-one visits with the Santas,

     >> Representatives from the Humane Society (with some 4-legged friends)

     >> Members of the Marion County Citizens Patrol Group will also be available

ADVANCE TICKETS FOR THE CHICKEN BBQ ARE ON SALE NOW AT BASS CHAMPIONS -- Dinners cost $6 each and include a 1/2 chicken with 2-sides.

All proceeds from the sale of the dinners & concessions will go to the 'Park Renovation Project' for future improvements & expansion of our Community Park (planned expansions include extending the walking trail, added picnic tables & park benches, and some beautification/landscaping efforts).

So, grab your lawn chairs and tell the family you're all "spending the day at the Park"!
