Life in Salt Springs (Florida) has been a blessing to me, offering an infinite source of natural wonders to inspire my work. I truly love working in oils, and enjoy painting on a variety of surfaces... wood, metal, walls, furniture, canvas, etc.

I have always had an interest in art and, after retiring and moving from New Jersey to Florida, I finally found the time to explore my interest in depth. To further expand my knowledge and abilities, I have attended classes at Central Florida Community College (CFCC) and at Gallery East, which has provided rewards ...prize winning paintings at local art shows.

I am currently a participating member of the Ocala Art Group, Fine Arts on Broadway, the Marion Cultural Alliance, and the Visual Arts Society. Some of my works are on display at Gallery East in Ocala.

Landscapes excite me... Portraits intrigue me... and I have completed several commissions. My goal is to evoke a feeling of nostalgia through my paintings and interpretations, one that will create a connection between my audience and the subject matter.

Many of my paintings are mounted in one-of-a-kind hand-made solid wood frames. Several of my works are shown below, for your viewing enjoyment -- some of these are available for sale.
