Established in 1991 by Albert Jackson Anderson (a.k.a Cactus Jack) and his brother, George, Cactus Jack's has been called "the Best Watering Hole in The Forest" and has become an area landmark with locals & visitors alike. Although he is gone, he will not be forgotten because his daughter, Cactus Lynn, and her husband, Buzz, are continuing his legacy. So be sure to stop-in for some of the coldest beer & best barbeque in town, try our famous chicken & yellow rice, and play some 25-cent Pool every day... In Memory of Albert Jackson Anderson

May 4, 1925 - February 16, 2008

During his lifetime, Albert Jackson Anderson (a.k.a Cactus Jack) touched the hearts of all who knew him. He was a man of honor & dignity who was willing to help anyone in need in any way that he could. He was truly loved by all and is missed deeply.

In the south, there are many sayings when people are asked about someone they don't really know... the person you ask may say "he's a good man", "he's a nice guy", "he's a good family man", or "he's honest and would give you the shirt off his back". If you were to put all of these together and add "humanitarian, patriotic, giving and loving", you'd come up with "he's a good ole boy!" Cactus Jack WAS a "Good Ole Boy!" He was the pillar of our community and everyone who knew him, loved and respected him. His memory will be long lasting, he will always be in our hearts, and he is missed & will be forever.
